WynnBET Sportsbook Background
WynnBET is the online gambling arm of the Las Vegas-based casino resort business created by Steve Wynn in 2002. The founder no longer works for his eponymous company, but it has tens of thousands of staff spread across venues in Nevada, Massachusetts and Macau.
It was a little late to get into the online gambling game, but Wynn Resorts bought a European social online gambling brand called BetBull in 2020. BetBull’s team brought technical expertise to proceedings. The company created an independent division called Wynn Interactive to run WynnBET and BetBull. WynnBET is now available in nine states:
- Arizona
- Colorado
- Indiana
- Louisiana
- Michigan
- New Jersey
- New York
- Tennessee
- Virginia
There is also a WynnBET Casino in Michigan and New Jersey. The brand has not yet been able to challenge sites like FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM to become one of the leaders in any states, but it is still only a couple of years old and the executive team says it is planning for the long-term.

Deposits at WynnBET Sportsbook
WynnBET does not offer many deposit options. MasterCard and Visa deposit are available, but you cannot use American Express cards or Discover cards. PayPal is accepted, but no other e-wallets – such as Skrill – are permitted.
One popular option is to send an e-check from a VIP Preferred account. You can also request a WynnBET Play+ card for quick deposits.
There are no other deposit methods available. You cannot use wire transfers, cryptocurrencies, cash at a retail venue or services like PayNearMe or Vanilla to fund your account. It is a pretty short list at WynnBET, so more options would be welcome. The minimum amount you can deposit at WynnBET is $10 and it does not charge you any deposit fees.
Withdrawals at WynnBET Sportsbook
WynnBET is not very quick to process payment requests. The website states that it takes 3-5 business days to consider and approve a request for a withdrawal. You then have to wait for the payment to go through, making it a laborious process.
Your options are Play+, PayPal or an e-check. Most other sportsbooks provide more options, so this is another department in which WynnBET could improve. The minimum payout is $10 and there are no withdrawal fees either.
WynnBET Sportsbook Interface
The WynnBET Sportsbook interface is very simple. The sports covered are displayed on a toolbar menu at the top of the page, left to right in order of popularity. The biggest upcoming sports events are shown in the center of the page and the betslip is on the right.
You can click on any sport, and the most popular league will be shown at the top of the page. That is fine for most sports, but it does not always work. For example, if you click on the soccer option, you will be shown MLS games, followed by Champions League games and Europa League games, even if they are not taking place for several days. It means you need to keep scrolling down the page to find a league you are looking for, such as the Premier League or Serie A.
In short, the navigation system is a little clunky. If you click on a game, you will see the most popular bets listed, with tabs allowing you to see all bets, totals, spreads, player props, and quarter/half bets.
It should be noted that WynnBET is first and foremost a mobile sports betting app provider. The website is an afterthought. If you want to bet at a desktop site, WynnBET is not recommended.
WynnBET Sportsbook Mobile Betting
The WynnBET app is much better. It has the same blue and brown color scheme, the same features and the same markets, but it looks more professional. It is easy to use, and the layout feels more intuitive.
There is a different app in every state. For example, you need to download the AZ Sportsbook app in Arizona and the NJ Casino & Sportsbook app in New Jersey. The average scores are poor. Users have criticized the login issues, glitches and difficulties with promotions.
We found the app very easy to use and reliable when we tested it out, and we did not experience the issues that app store users have complained about, but we take their feedback on board.
Sports Available at WynnBET Sportsbook
WynnBET takes bets on a limited selection of sports:
- Aussie Rules
- Baseball
- Basketball
- Boxing
- Football
- Golf
- Hockey
- MMA
- NASCAR
- Soccer
- Tennis
Many rival sportsbooks cover more than 20 sports, but there are only 11 featured at WynnBET Sportsbook. They happen to be the most popular sports, which account for most bets placed in the United States, but the lack of variety may be unappealing to some players.
Rivals
Rivals take bets on sports like athletics, cricket, cycling, darts, handball, rugby league, rugby union, snooker, table tennis, volleyball and winter sports, plus entertainment markets, but your choices are a lot more limited at WynnBET.
Some of the sports are covered in reasonable depth – we found live betting on basketball in Lithuania, hockey in Finland and soccer in India when writing up this review – but it is hard to find those leagues, as they are buried in the interface. Competitors are more comprehensive with their coverage, whereas WynnBET seemingly likes to keep things simple. Some players will appreciate that simplicity, but others will look elsewhere in search of greater variety.
The odds available are average. It has standard -110 lines, and the moneylines are in line with competitors, but the prop betting lines could be better.
Betting Options at WynnBET Sportsbook
WynnBET has a curious habit of initially publishing a limited selection of betting options on a game and then gradually topping it up as the game approaches. At times, you can therefore find just 21 betting options on an NBA game, and at other times, you can find 119 betting options. Essentially, it helps to place your bets close to the start of the game.
However, that may not fit everyone’s strategies, as some players like to get their bets on early, before the lines move and the odds change as a result of betting trends.
It is good to see a broad choice of betting options on most sports events, but it would be a lot better if they were released earlier. When they are all published, you can find various lines, totals, props, and bets on quarters, halves and periods, but there are no same game parlays available.
How to Place a Bet at WynnBET Sportsbook
- Select a sport, choose a game and browse the betting options. Tap the screen on a betting option to add it to your betslip.
- The box with your bet amount will automatically be set to $50, which is unusual. You must go in and edit it to change it to your chosen stake.
- The betslip will then tell you your potential “To win” amount. Note that the figure includes the return of your stake, and not simply the profit you will make.
- You can choose to accept line changes or not, and then tap the screen to confirm the wager.
Features at WynnBET Sportsbook
WynnBET Sportsbook does not offer the types of value-added features that you will find at the online sports betting sites and apps it competes with. For example, there are no pre-game stats to browse, and it does not provide live stats of in-play games or infographics. There is no live streaming either.
Most rival betting sites offer same game parlays. You can use a tool to create them on a game. That is not possible at WynnBET, which limits your betting options and your flexibility. There is a cash out feature, but that is about it.
Bonuses at WynnBET Sportsbook
The main bonus at WynnBET Sportsbook is a standard $1,000 risk-free bet offer. It is the same as the FanDuel and BetMGM welcome bonuses.
The first thing to note is that there is actually some risk involved. You make a deposit of $10 to $1,000 and place a bet on a sports event. If it is a loser, you get the bet amount back as site credit. You then need to use that site credit to place a single wager, and if you earn any profit, you can keep it. The free bet token isn’t included in the return. It means you only get your initial investment back by placing a winning bet at odds of +100 or greater.
WynnBET has also started offering generous short-term sign-up offers. At the time we wrote our Online Betting 101 guide, there was a “Bet $10, Get $200” offer running. You could place a bet at odds of-120 or greater and get $200 in free bets. They were divided into 4 x $50 free bets, with one released per week over the next month.
WynnBET did say it would scale back its promotional spend, arguing that rivals were spending unsustainable amounts on bonuses, but at the time of this review, it had actually been ramping up its bonus offers. They can change depending on what state you are in, but we found free bet offers and parlay bonuses when we checked.
Customer Service
WynnBET offers great customer service. There is 24/7 live chat, you can send an email, or the phone line is open from 10 am to 8 pm each day. Most sportsbooks in America do not offer phone support, so that is a great addition, even if it isn’t 24/7. The live chat works very well at all times of day and night – or at least it did when we tested it – and the responses we received were useful.
Is Your Money Safe at WynnBET Sportsbook?
Your money is safe. It is a legit, licensed online sportsbook, so you do not have to worry about not getting paid. It has all the usual security measures you would expect from a professional site, and you will be covered by your state’s consumer protection department when using WynnBET. Do not worry about your money and focus on picking winners instead.
WynnBET Casino
WynnBET Casino is a lot better than WynnBET Sportsbook. Perhaps that is understandable, considering Wynn is a casino company with no real experience of sports betting. The casino is great, with hundreds of terrific games from IGT, Eveeri, NetEnt, Slingo, Big Time Gaming, Ainsworth and a few others. There is a live dealer casino featuring games from Evolution Gaming. It is easier to find your way around the casino, much more so than the sportsbook, and it has a search bar to help you quickly locate a specific game. There are some decent bonuses for casino players too.
Conclusion
It is hard to see why anyone would choose WynnBET ahead of DraftKings, FanDuel or BetMGM. It does not offer as many betting options or banking options, the promos are not as impressive and it is not particularly user-friendly. The app is a lot better than the website, and it does offer good customer service, but it needs to work hard to catch up with its rivals in most other areas.
